End of life planning is for you if you want...

  • To design your funeral in advance and mark your passing intentionally
  • An informed, open-minded and nonreligious conversation partner for guidance in your choices
  • To know more about green burials and other ecologically sustainable options for your body
  • To explore unconventional options such as a home funeral or living funeral
  • To lift the planning burden from those closest to you

You (or your loved ones) will be relieved to have clear direction and an understanding of your values. By the end of our meetings, you'll have documentation of your end of life care preferences, a list of specific providers and venues that can meet your wishes, and the outline of a funeral that reflects your life, your values, legacy, and personality.  I provide paper and thumb drive versions for you to keep or share with others.

Available in person in Greater Boston, and by video conference for elsewhere in the U.S.  and internationally.
I’d planned both my parents’ funerals and was overwhelmed by all the decisions. The sheer number of choices crowded out my ability to grieve. I knew I wanted to do things differently. Working with Beth gave me a feeling of lightness I didn’t expect. She’s warm, funny, and incredibly informed — and now I know my own family will have a much easier time when the moment comes.

After my husband died, I wanted to put some plans in place — especially about my body and how I’d like to be remembered. But I also wanted to acknowledge our relationship in those choices. Beth was a steady, compassionate guide. She helped me clarify what mattered most, and how to make it all practical for my children. The process felt clear and grounded.

As I retired and moved to Europe, I kept thinking — what happens if I die overseas? Would my family know what to do? Beth researched international options I hadn’t even considered. She even reached out to expat forums to get real answers. Now my wishes are documented and easy to follow, and I can focus on living my new life.
